American & Polish Middle School Students Exchange Promoting Peace And Understanding

Envision American students leading their Polish peers in discussions about Native American civilizations on a visit to an Indian Reservation and then Polish students guiding Americans on a tour of the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in the heart of what once was the Warsaw Ghetto. Feel Nature’s healing power as children explore the high desert in New Mexico and the forest valleys of Poland. We intend to encourage compassion and tolerance for an authentic comprehension of human harmony.

30 Middle School students from Albuquerque, NM and Warsaw, PL will travel to each other’s country. The trip will carefully touch questions of Native Americans and European Jews to stimulate and inspire student’s personal development, local appreciation, and deeper global understanding.
